NÖ INNOVATION AWARD 2025

NÖ INNOVATION AWARD 2025

The RHP NANO Group has won the NÖ Innovation Award for their project "Bioresorbable and Locally Antibacterial Implant for Use in Heart Valve Surgery." Congratulations to Dr. Mariangela Fedel and Dr. Laszlo Sajti!

A groundbreaking material combination has been developed that is fully bioresorbable—meaning it dissolves in the body and is absorbed by tissue—while also providing long-term antibacterial effects. This innovation improves the treatment of damaged heart valves and significantly enhances patient safety. (photocredit: Michael Meindl)
