Boron and boron isotopes
are made by us in combination with carbides such as 10B4C or 11B4C as plates and rings. Freely structured shapes, shutters etc. can also be produced from these materials.
Another application finds our materials as layers on detectors and in sensor systems. In this field, coating processes can be used to deposit thin layers of these material isotopes on carrier substrates. Large surface areas then act by this material class to detect neutron species, for example to detect explosives in trucks or other containers.
RHP Technology has developed ways to modify the ceramic to become conductive. This is essential e.g. for post processing or easy machining. The material modification does not influence the purity of the material.
